Future precinct — Sunbury North is identified in the Victorian Government's 10-year plan for Melbourne's greenfields as a Horizon 3 growth precinct, with its Precinct Structure Plan scheduled to commence between 2029/30 and 2033/34. No Precinct Structure Plan has been gazetted yet. Today Sunbury is an established town with room to grow north.
